Receipts

What they said, side by side with what the record shows. Every claim and action is sourced. Where the record isn't yet verified, fwdio.org says so explicitly — we don't fill gaps with guesses.

Metro audit record verified
They said
As Metro Auditor, I have audited supportive housing services, park and natural areas, and the Oregon Zoo programs.
The record shows

Verifiable against Metro's published audit catalog at oregonmetro.gov/audits. Recent audits include: Supportive housing services follow-up audit; Oregon Zoo Bond Implementation Audit; First Opportunity Target Area Audit; Transparent Governance Audit; Performance Measures Audit; Information Technology Audit; Financial Condition of Metro FY 2013-14 to FY 2022-23. fwdio.org references the Supportive Housing audit in Noah Ernst's '$1.3 billion' receipt and the housing-program reporting in Juan Carlos González's '5,600 affordable homes' receipt — both anchor to audits Brian Evans's office leads.

Note:The audit record is publicly catalogued at oregonmetro.gov/audits. Several specific audits are referenced by name in his pamphlet statement and are listed at the public catalog page. fwdio.org's existing González and Ernst receipts both cite Metro Auditor work — Evans is the office that produces it.

No third-party scorecards loaded yet for this candidate. fwdio.org is building toward a cross-spectrum grid (labor, business, environment, civil liberties, gun rights, reproductive rights, tax/fiscal, housing) so every visitor can find a lens they already trust. v1.1 surfaces what's in the official pamphlets; v1.2 pulls in structured scorecards from third-party organizations.

Official pamphlet statement(verbatim from the official voters' pamphlet)

Metro Residents, You deserve transparent and accountable government. That's why I am running for reelection. The Auditor's Office provides objective and independent information about Metro's programs and services. The performance audits I lead make recommendations to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and equity. RESPONSIVE TO THE PUBLIC Voters approved ballot measures for supportive housing services, park and natural areas, and the Oregon Zoo in recent years. As Metro Auditor, I have audited each of these programs to ensure they deliver the promises made to voters. Other recent audits focused on governance, equity, and ethics to respond to public concerns. The First Opportunity Target Area audit found out of date income limits reduced the number of people who could participate in the program. I also completed an audit that looked at public meetings, public records, lobbying, and contracts. Finally, two recent audits identified improvements to better manage ethics and conflicts of interest. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE TO BE SUCCESSFUL I have a strong record of improving government. Over 18 years I completed performance audits of almost every aspect of Metro's operations including Portland'5 Centers for the Arts and Oregon Convention Center. I also audited internal functions like finance and information technology which are key to the success of all Metro programs. HOLDING GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABLE I center the public point of view. My goal is to show you what has been accomplished and where more work is needed. Being an advocate for the public improves services and increases accountability. As Metro Auditor, I will bring integrity, independence and continuous improvement to everything I do. Read audit reports at: https://www.oregonmetro.gov/audits
